I am a Les Paul nut, don't get me wrong, i do like and own other makes of guitars, But it's Les Paul's I love. I also have other types of Gibson's, and other makes of guitars, but Les Paul's are my thang
Here are a few pics of my Lester's.
this is a Gibson 56 reissue Goldtop, 2004 model, it got P90 pups, great biting sound. a fat comfortable neck, plays well,
[shadow=red,left,300]This is a Gibson 68 custom authentic, great player, the neck's not as thick as the 56, but still comfortable to play, [/shadow]
[shadow=red,left,300]this is a 2004 Gibson Honey-Burst Standard, I call this one Melis,[/shadow]
I do have some more which I will post photo's of soon.Please post photo's of you're Les Paul's we would love to see them,

Gibsons is all I've ever owned. But that's just me. I have had SGs and Les Pauls over the years. The sad thing is I always had to sell what I had to get something else. My current and longest owned Gibson is a 73 Les Paul Recording I've had for the past 25+ years. I'm finally in a position to get 1 maybe 2 more. I plan to get a Faded V and/or Explorer first. But the real beaut I want is a Alpine White Supreme with gold trim. When I was first learnin to strum my bro-in-laws big brother told me this, "Whitey you play pretty good and if you want to play Southern Rock get yourself a Les Paul and stick with it. It'll give you the sound you want and need". Better words were never spoken.

I used to be a fanatic SG-man, but two years ago I went into a music shop by a coincident, and they where selling out a batch of Les Paul Std Faded. I tried a couple of them and... since then it's my axe. I really great guitar to a fare price.

I went to Guitar Center lookin and tryin some new wood. Tried all kinds of Gibsons, what else is there. I was really lookin for my kid who came along too. We played for almost 2 hours. The problem with GC is they got too much. I planned on gettin him a Faded V for almost $600. That's what he wanted but didn't like it cause it wasn't comfortable to play sittin down. He stumbled across an immaculate Epi Les Paul Classic. www.guitarcenter.com/shop/document?cpd=85911&doc_id=100343&g=guitar&base_pid=518353&index=10

I guess I hit a wrong button some where. Anyhow, this guitar feels excellent and sounds just as good as it looks. www.guitarcenter.com/shop/product/buy_epiphone_les_paul_classic_quilt_top?full_sku=518353%2e015The only drawback might be this, MADE IN CHINA. But Assembled and setup in the US. And whoever set it up is a PRO. One of the best actions I've played on. And even if the hb pups are chinese they jam and cut just like a LP should. And it even has the weight and feel of a LP. I was highly impressed and so was my kid. So the V went down the tubes, almost. Since I been wantin a V for me I bought the Epi and the V. But here's the jackpot, I got a 2 year old used Faded V for $299. That's right, $299. Nothing wrong with it just lookin at it and it plays and sounds like brand new. I planned on spending up to $800 for BJ's guitar, instead I spent $750 and we each got a new gun to add to our arsenal. I'm livin in high cotton right now.

Wow, you scored well there, two guitars and change, not bad going at-all, so your son got the Epi faded, nice one, i bet he's well chuffed with that, and you bought the flying V, ;D, how are you liking it? how's the feel and the balance like, i know they're not that well suited for playing sitting down, but how's the balance overall, you'll have to give us an update on what it's like playing on a gig, Here's a happy jamming to you both, good going M8.

Been busy lately and not much pc time. My lovely bride, Marti, is busy ebaying a bunch of our 3 year old, Zak, clothes so she keeps the line tied up a lot. But I think I figured this digital stuff out so here is some pics of my 73 Les Paul Recording. I hope it makes it cause this is my first attempt at this digital picture sharing stuff A little closer shot, sorry about the glare And just for fun here is my son's ,BJ, new Epi Les Paul Classic in Transparent Amber Without the head showing you can't tell if it's an Epi of a Gibby. Epiphone did this model some justice. This guitar is really sweet.
