Thanks brother. Those are two fine guitars. I will check them out. There's something about those "Split Diamond" Gibsons that I just can't get enough of.

That is a nice one sparky. I like the color and the gold trim, the black binding sets if off. I hope the tuners are gold too. Even the 3 way cover matches the body color. And sometimes it's nice to see the puppies covered up too.

They're good guitars the Orville's, they made (I'm not sure if they still make em) two types, Orville by Gibson, and just Orville, the Orville by Gibson are very well made (not saying the others not) but Orville by Gibson uses very high quality material, in fact the same stuff that Gibson use, has a long neck tennon, like Gibson Custom shops guitars, good wood, whereas the other Orville, is more like Tokais etc, not that they are rubbish, they're good guitars in they're own right, IMO, but very nice guitars and not a bad price, also they are getting harder to get, as more people are been turned on to them.

sparky you need to check out the Gibson LP Vintage Mahogany, faded cherry or brown. It has the Burstbucker Pro pups and comes with a case for $800. About half the price of a LP Standard and a WHOLE lot less than a LP Custom. That's the guitar I wanted to get my son but his eye caught the Epi and wanted it. I played that LP faded for almost an hour and loved it, sounded excellent, plays real nice, just not much choice in colors www.guitarcenter.com/shop/product/buy_gibson_les_paul_vintage_mahogany_electric_guitar?full_sku=103371357I know what you mean about one day....
