I dont know how I missed this post, it must have been when I was busy posting at the same time
Yeah great band, loved they're kind of blues, same par as the "Groundhogs",
The members from this band has a lot of history, like Jim "Slaphead" said, Jeff Howell went on to play with Foghat and the Outlaws, Guitarist "Lonesome" Dave Peverett, bassist Tone Stevens, and drummer Roger Earl went on to form Foghat,
Savoy Brown also provided an outlet for the keyboardist and guitarist, Paul Raymond, who later went on to join UFO
Another singer with "Savoy Brown", Dave Walker, would later go on to join Fleetwood Mac and Black Sabbath.
Original band member and harmonica player, John O'Leary, is still active on the British blues circuit with The John O'Leary Band.
Like I said a lot of history,
Here's a video of the band doing one of my favorite song's, off the album, "Raw Sienna",
Savoy Brown Needle and Spoon
Here's a sound video of the original recording of the song and band......
