Where would the grandest form of music be without the Greatest Guitars of All Time, the Les Paul and the Stratocaster? How about them Outlaws? How about Toy and George? What would Southern Rock be without these two guitars? Imagine 'Green Grass and High Tides' played on anything else! I can't even conceive of it! Would there even be such a thing as Southern Rock without Strats and Les Pauls? Who are your favorite Southern Rock 'twin lead' players who played Strat vs. Les Paul?
Post your thoughts.....

Hey nice post dennis
Well for me, I'll have to go for...............
#1=Duane Allman and Dickey Betts, using "Les Paul and Les Paul" even though Dickey and Duane also used SGs (which are great guitars as well) and they used Strats, but mainly they used "Les Paul's"
#2=Dickey Betts and Dan Toler, again using "Les Pauls" Even though these guy's also used Strat's, and PRS, but mainly they used "Les Pauls".
#3=Dickey Betts and Warren Haynes= "Les Pauls" Warren also use's a ES335, and Strat,s

I agree with you %100 on the duos you listed, but I want to see more response on the 'Strat vs. Les Paul' question. I have seen Charlie Daniels pictured with a Strat, and Tommy Crain mostly played a Les Paul, so that would be a good team to mention.....oops....I already mentioned it! Come on guys!

No problem Jim, use the Direct link at the bottom, of the five codes there on your photo host's, ImageShack or Photobucket,
Then use the insert image, thats the fourth box of the bottom row, next to the email box, just above the red and the Yellow "ADD COLORS"
Also I have posted "How To Post Photos" in the General Board Section, thats just above "Welcome and Introduce Yourselfs" section,
I hope that helps M8,
