[shadow=red,left,300]John Krier[/shadow] Early on as a blues-rock guitarist from Pennsylvania, I was heavily influenced by Eric Clapton, Freddie King, BB King and Albert King, and bands such as The Allman Bros, Cream, ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd, just to name a few. When I started playing, I began listening to many blues, rock and jazz artists. As I listened to a wide variety of guitar players, I soon discovered such greats as Robben Ford, Larry Carlton, Warren Haynes, Peter Green and Mick Taylor to name a few. The more I listened, the more my style evolved and, currently, I'm working on playing more jazz infused blues while developing a better understanding of harmony. I also fill my time as a member of Bad Habit (www.badhabit.moonfruit.com), a five-piece rock and blues band from Southeastern PA.
