I don't have the POWERTRIP. But I did just get the Skynyrd's First-The Muscle Shoals Collection. Even though it has a bunch of their hits it also has some you don't get to hear. Overall it's a great cd. Gives you an idea of the earliest LS sound before it reallys gets honed to an edge on some of the hits.

I grew up listenin to a wide variety of music from hillbilly country that my dad liked, my mom was into the crooners like Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, etc, my grandmaw was into the big band sound, and my grandpaw loved jazz, what else, we lived in New Orleans in the 60's. I don't know why but I just like this guy, who don't. As a kid I remember hearin him on the radio, watchin his movies, and even saw his debut on the Ed Sullivan Show on tv, THE KING, ELVIS. The cd I got spinnin is "ELVIS 30 #1 HITS". BEFORE ANYBODY DID ANYTHING ELVIS DID EVERYTHING
