I, am not a TV fan, in fact I very rarely watch it, preferring to spend my time playing/listening to music or being online.
However, I do sometimes like to watch a good film.
My favourites are Mississippi Burning (Gene Hackman version), The Thing, The Elephant Man, The Shawshank Redemption and Schindler's List.
I would love to hear about other peoples favourite films.

I have goofy tastes in movies, but my all time favs are:
Major League (The original only, the 2 sequels sucked) The Mask Of Zorro Long Kiss Goodnight Raiders Of The Lost Ark I. Jones And The Last Crusade The original 3 Star Wars Movies Fight Club Sleepy Hollow Team America Multiplicity Bonnie And Clyde Airplane Throw Momma From The Train All the Saw movies The Grudge The Ring Skeleton Key
Among others. I can't think of them ALL at this moment.

I just caught a little of 'Fastest Guitar Alive' with Roy Orbison, made in 1967. Roy plays a Rebel with a guitar/rifle, who steals some gold with a partner to finance the Confederate army, only to find out the South has surrendered. Some interesting singing by Roy, who could not sing a song poorly, but otherwise, the movie was a waste of time and film.

Some great films suggested and sparkys suggestion of "Little Big Man" reminded me of The Rain Man another good one.
A film dealing with a similar subject is "I Am Sam" Sean Penn.
Another one I am reminded of is a John Travolta film called Michael. I love the scene where he walks downstairs smoking a fag and scratching his ***e.
