Here is a gorgeous motorcycle painted with a Allman Brothers paint job on the tank & fenders, & scroll work on the chrome part's, and the engine, it took these guy's two years to do the work, and beautifully it is too,
Allman Brothers Bike
I recently completed a project that was about two years in the making. The bike was an Allman Brothers Band tribute, that now sits in a museum for the ABB.Several of us worked on the bike from conception through building ,paint and even scroll work on almost every piece of chrome.
We delivered the completed work to the ABB concert in Charlotte, NC on October 2nd of 2004, backstage at their concert with Lynard Skynard.Aside from the incredible front row center seats at an amazing show, the highlight was meeting each of the members of the band as they viewed the bike after the show. The art includes pictures of 20 past and present members of the band,17 album covers in chronological order along with two measures of a song from each of the albums on a pearl white base color with candy blue tye dye over the whole bike.I was really honored to have each of these phenomonal musicians talking to me about their pics and the art from past members. These guys are genuinely nice folks.Greg Allman sat on the bike and said it was set up a lot like his bike. Here are a few pics of the bike pieces and the concert. The one signing the bike is Greg. They all signed the seat after looking. This was the most rewarding paint job I have been involved in to date. Thanks to all who had a part in it!
