Ah, only the Shadows can turn an old cowboy song in to a Disco groove, and do a good job of it.
Hank Marvin was a guitar hero (still is) back in the good ole day's.

In 1959 Hank brought the first Fender Stratocaster into the UK, a Fiesta red Strat, with gold hardware,

It goes that, Marvin and Richard was searching through a Fender catalog to find the guitar played by James Burton, Ricky Nelson's lead guitarist. They assumed it must be a Stratocaster because the most expensive in the brochure was a gold-plated example. Burton, however, played the Telecaster, and the Stratocaster was relatively new. Although Marvin used that original guitar between 1959 and 1961,

Hank Marvin, I'v read that he's influenced a few good guitarist,
I can see why and how

I like his sound, he's got a nice country twang to his guitar,
Did he have the same tone-sound back in the 60s ??

Spot on whitey, they where very, very good musicians,
like i said, occasionally I still like to play "Apache", "cruel Sea" and "The Savage"
