I can't beleive the votes for the earlier stuff . To me, "1991" was the disappointment of that year. They did steadily get better. "vicious Cycle" was the ultimate IMO, but "Edge Of Forever" is close.

I can't beleive the votes for the earlier stuff . Why M8 To me, "1991" was the disappointment of that year. I'll stick with what i voted, I think it's a great album without taking anything from the other albums, as they are also good, but this one i like, because it has some really good songs on this CD: "Smokestack Lightning", "Pure & Simple", "Good Thing", "Money Man", & "Backstreet Crawler". Most of the rest are decent too. except for a couple I don't care for, I think It's a fine rock and roll album. & "Keepin the Faith" and "Smokestack Lightning" and "Backstreet Crawler" are classic Skynyrd guitar attacks IMO. Also it has some of my favorite original guitarists on It, Garry Rossington, Ed King (who i hold in high acclaim & admire as a guitarist), as well as Leon Wilkenson on bass, In fact I'm an old fart that lives in the past , and i prefer the old Skynyrd,

I like Vicious Cycle also. But I'm ashamed to say that I haven't heard the other choices. So much music, so little time. ;D I like the old Skynyrd also. Another good poll.
