Here is a fine guitarist/musician, and guitar maker,
this is what Ed has to say about his influences, and his early days.
A long time ago when I was living in Warner Robbins Ga. I met A young man he was 18,I was 15 His name was Bruce Brookshire. He Played in a group named Roundhouse. I thought I knew everything about guitar and told him this and he was real nice. He let me sit down and play what I thought was my best, and I thought I had him, then he said that WAS PRETTY GOOD AND BEGAN TO PLAY. I felt so small at that point, but I kept coming back, I met a lot of people through Bruce,Bobby and Herman. Not to mention Ed Stone. I met the people from Stillwater, mainly mike from whom I learned to play slide. I learned many things from Bruce and for that I will always thank Him. My Ga. days were the best time in my life, and I'm sorry I had to leave and miss all my wonderful friends. So to all the wonderful People I have met in my lifetime Thank you.....Ed
