They used to have the Dave Clark Five playing on the radio all the time when i was dead young, they where one of the pop stars of that time lol. Their best know'n record then was Glad All Over, i still remember everyone banging on the tables and such in the Cafe when some one put on the record, and I'm feeling,(Bang, bang on the tables), Glad All Over yes I'm, (bang bang) Gald All Over Ha-Ha ;D uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpR5VgAGjiI(Excuse me I've not had my medication yet )

Yeah Cliff's backing band, the Shadows made some good instrumentals, like "Apache" "The Cruel Sea" "Kon-Tiki" "Wonderful Land" & numerous others. I believe that Hank Marvin was the first to get a Fender Stratocaster in the UK, finished in Fiesta Red, with gold hardware and a tremolo arm ;D I believe the guitar was imported from America by Cliff Richard That guitar and a echo unit made his style & sound, Marvin influenced many later guitarists, like Neil Young, Pete Townsend, to name a few, and Carlos Santana's nickname in his formative years was Apache because it was one of the earliest pieces he learned to play. "Apache" was one of the first songs that i learned to play lead on the guitar Great stuff
