Comments anyone? Jim Wow, a good selection of Blast from the past there Jim A lot i know, but there are a few i dont, Like Strife, & Snafu (Micky Moodie) But the others i do, some good one's here, Pink Fairies Emerson Lake and Palmer The Nice, The forerunner to Emerson Lake & Palmer.John Miles Rick Wakeman (The Myths and Legends of King Arthur) i was not into this band period, i think he went over the top, when he put on the show on ice Rick was good in "Yes" but couldn't get into this bandSteve Gibbons Crosby Stills and Nash, I really liked this band, (still do) great singing & harmoney's, to some great song's, and then when Neil Young join'd them Focus Osibisa A band I'd forgotten all about , this band was one of the first fusion band at that time, late 60s mid 70s onwards i loved they're fusion of African, jazz rock, rock, and R&B, i was heavliy into Jazz rock at that time, and these two are classic Thin Lizzie AC/DC A good selection M8 Do you remember any of these Jim, Or any one Fairport Convention Mott the Hoople Spooky Tooth Heavy Jelly Blodwyn Pig Traffic Dr. Strangely Strange Quintessence

Hi cofi Never heard of Heavy Belly, Spooky Tooth, Dr Strangely Strange or Quintessence, I must admit. Fairport Convention I have heard of but never fancied (so to speak). Mott The Hoople (All The Young Dudes) I have seen live, they headlined at a gig in Nelson when Sassafras were playing. Traffic, well - Stevie Winwood (good stuff on youtube) and Capaldi. Back to my suggestions, Strife were an excellent 3 piece band, whose bassist (Gordon whatsisname), if I remember, was awarded the title of ugliest bassist in rock at that time. I have a cd of one of their albums called Rush. Snafu I saw a few times in the 70,s, they have a cd available, or did, of two of their albums. Saw Mickie Moodie play a charity gig a couple of years ago in Burnley. He is playing with Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake, Company of Snakes). Incidentally, I have a cd by Triple Trouble which is by Double Trouble plus guests - Stevie Ray Vaughan's backing band. What about Thin L izzie and Hawkwind

Focus? Yeah, I saw them in concert once. What was that song that hit the radio waves? I can hear the tune in my head, (Yodeling) but the name of the song escapes me. That dude could shred.

Re Focus.
Just confirming that it was probably Hocus Pocus, or Sylvia.
Jan Akkerman, the amazing lead guitarist is still touring.
Triple Trouble cd is well worth listening to, it includes a great version of Help (Beatles).
Will check out the Thin Lizzie/Hawkwind references cofi. Just bought Live and Dangerous on cd.
