One of my favorite bands. I know some people don't like 'em, but I do. Pretty tasty solo at the end of Fool For the City.

FOGHAT IS MY MOSTEST FAVORITE BAND EVER!!! It was a couple of sad days to learn that Lonesome Dave and Rod"The Magician of Slide" Price passed on to a better place. I have seen these guys live more than the law should allow. In fact Rod Price is why I learned to try to play slide. Every time a new Foghat lp would come out I got it and would sit down and jam to the songs until I knew em by heart. I remember at one concert about half way through the band took a short breather, the stage got dark, fog started fillin the stage, then all you heard was Rod playin the slide like no other can, as he got louder and louder a red spotlight shined on him from overhead, as he really started rippin the fretboard, more and more red spots lit him up until the entire stage was nutin but red and Rod's Gibby Double Cut was smokin. And you can't forget the wacky drummer Roger Earl who could do some skin-bangin. And all the different bass players were just as great as the rest of the band. I think Foghat was one of the top blues-rock bands of the 70s.
