Warlord Flying V - Black
The Warlord a powerful stage performer, built by the Alden house of Rock. No half measures, no compromise, no excuses. This is a full fat rock machine with ass kicking attitude and style. Pick ups wound for output and able to drive your amp hard and perfect for full on Rock Punk or Metal. Turn this baby up, plug it into your rig, and it will take your face off at 100 paces. The Warlord, built to conquer.
It also has a more versatile side, with enough tonal range to keep up with the modern players demands. Proper high end twang for clean passages when needed. Or full Blues Rock tone when the mood takes you.
Metal influenced flying V shape that is both unique and with the Warlord its made practical. One of the few V shaped guitars that you can actually play seated.
The neck is fast and fluid, your fingers guided by the polished medium jumbo frets. Easy bends and runs. And just look at the Green Abalone and mother of pearl position markers on the fingerboard, absolutely stunning. The deep ebony finish is as deep as you would expect from Alden. All the hard wear is a stunning gold finish. The edge binding of the body is Abalone and cream. The neck is a set in to the body design rather than bolt on for optimum sustain. The rosewood finger board is also edge bound.
For the technically minded, the powerful Alden Warlord Hardrive Humbuckers are wound for output and a great tonal range. Another great feature are the strings which pass through the body. Thus optimising the resonance and allowing clear harmonics and bags of sustain with no dead spots along with a full bottom end. The tuning stability is great. The Warlords machine heads are adjustable and the posts are locked to the headstock to help keep this axe in tune. Simple and effective controls, a single volume knob! Its all you need, keeping it real.
From the scalloped V body to the Lucifers fork headstock, the power and the passion, this axe built for: those about to rock, Alden.... we salute you amen!

The Alden story...
Alan Entwistles years of experience restoring and maintain Vintage guitars have come together in this amazing array of original guitar designs. Alan studied his craft in the 60s, arguable the golden ear of guitar music. A period when guitar builders had no boundaries and were free to experiment and be bold and daring. The instruments were designed by talented individuals and dedicated teams of craftsmen rather than committees and accountants. Built by players for players.
The spirit and passion of building and developing concept guitars for some of the worlds biggest guitar names, is evident in ever pore of the Alden guitar range.
He has worked closely with musicians from around the world helping them get the best out of there chosen instruments, through meticulous set ups and custom pick up design. And by building one-off instruments for the discerning musician looking for a personal musical tool
Jazz, Blues Rock, Punk Metal and experimental music are captured in this truly unique line up of guitars.
Alan has also developed the acclaimed Entwistle range of aftermarket guitar and bass pick ups. Its taken years to achieve but the result was well worth the wait .You can now bring the Entwistle sound to your instrument at a very affordable price. (Check out these powerful beauties in our ebay shop)
Alans creations aimed at those who love the sixtys style without the inconsistent build quality sometimes associated with that era. This concept is reflected in the Phantasia X11 and Teardrop guitars.
Also captured in the range are more extreme instruments like the Quadra Star and the incredible XG Custom created for the guitarist unshackled by convention, seeking an original guitar sound. Musicians looking for something that pushes new frontiers of musical expression... Then Jazz and Blues enter the ring with the Alden Semi-acoustic range that is extensive and carefully thought out. The Dorchester 12 string semi and the Cleopatra have details that set them apart from more mainstream guitar lines.
Not forgetting the Alden bass guitars like the Palladium and the Beat backer Bass that set new standards in bass design and innovation.
Alan closely supervised the factory when producing the Alden instruments. Alans personal tooling requirements and designs were employed from the very start of the project, to create a fresh new wave of instruments that are destined to become classics.
The reasonable price of Alden guitars is not an indication of poor quality. Alan was given full control regarding all aspects of manufacture and the selection of materials for this exciting project. Aldens factory was carefully chosen for its track record of quality guitar production for some big gun guitar names. Utilizing a skilled workforce who have trained and worked with Alan for many years, to develop these skills still further. People that shared Alans passion, Alans dream.
