Bad news bout the Tokai's, not available in North America. At least that's what I found on 2 sites that did handle them. Sparky I think they were in the $700-800 range. And I'll say it again, that has to be one of the best bookmarked maple tops I've ever seen. I

I bought a used bass for my son. (He's a beginner). I taught him a few songs, NIB-Ozzy, Dreams-ABB. Perry Mason-Ozzy, ( as best as I could), (I'm just an intermediate bass/guitar player). . . anyways. . . It's a Fender Squire 4 string, with a Fender 15 watt practice amp. $100.00. for both. A lot of people say the Squires suck, but I think it sounds OK. What do you guys think? Did I get ripped off?
I post a pic later if you want to see it.

No punk, they are decent guitars, i like them, and for the price you cant go wrong IMO. I bought a squire strat copy for my student to learn on (for the one's that didnt have guitars yet) it is really good, play's like a strat should, action was good and low, the hardware was OK, it kept in tune, even after using the whammy bar, the pups where a bit noisy, but that's to be expected with single coils, right, good guitars

Yeah it sounds good to me, it's a Fender Squire P-Bass, don't know what year, it sounds at least as good as the Samak Bass guitars that list for $200.00 new.

Yeah Ha-Ha good 1 whitey. Also, say you cut your finger on a string while playing, and you where bleeding, could you say you spilt your blood on/for America I wonder how that guitar balances ? i think I'd find it uncomfortable to play, That Gibson L6S, looks interesting, shame they haven't got a bigger photo of it to look at, it looks like a Gibson Special, from what i can see of the photo, if it is, i love my special as it play's really nice, great neck, great sound (P90) over all a good guitar What about this one then whitey, do you think you'd like this one, would it go, with the other you've got ;D

I remembered later on after posting my earlier post, i had a Squire Jazz bass for a while a few years back, i bought it second hand cheep, to sell on ebay, anyway from what i remember it was a great bass, not much different to the Mexican or Japanese model's, I think you did well M8, you'll have to post pic's ;D
