Up-dates on the slides, I sent Ian an e-mail today, asking him what's to do with the slides, and he rang me back this afternoon Well what happened is, the guy's that bond the glass and metal together, had gone on holiday, and when they came back they had a lot of work to do to catch up, so they where a bit slow in getting Diamond Bottleneck's order out, Anyway, they got them on Monday, and they've been working on them (polishing, filing, etc) and got a lot finished today, so the thing is, that Ian is sending my slides out in the post tomorrow so i should get them on Friday, yeah man , So I'll write & let you know how they sound & feel & compare to all the others I've got, They should be good ;D

OK, I got them this morning ;D I've had a quick blast with em, but not a proper one, as I've been busy working for a change (Recording, if you can call that working) So as soon as i have some time to play my guitars, (working with the Bass) I will give them a good go, From my quick try, they feel, and sound frigging great and the feel and fit is OK as well ;D Later guy's,

You're givin me the itch for another slide cofi. I'm still goin back to my 1 inch chromed slide. I like the others I been messin with but it's just like my old LPR, it just has the right feel when I use it. But I am curious about what you think of the diamond botlenecks.

OK guy's I've had some time to try them out, and they are good Yes Sparky, i got the Evolution & i also got the Redhouse, I've tried them out on the electric guitar, & also tried them on my Resonator, and what a great sound, The Evolution is a nice weight, i get a bright sound with the metal side, and a nice warm full sound with the glass, It's great while playing, just turning it around & getting a different tone from both sides, with the same slide To say the truth, It's money well spent, IMO, If you can, or get a chance to, try one out, you'll be very nicely surprised The Redhouse is lighter, it gives a nice warm full sound, a bit darker than the Evolution, but a nice tone I'm very happy with them ;D

Slides are funny animals. It's nice to get a product and it gives you what you want. I got 9 slides on the shelf and really only use 2 of them.
