Talk Box

You know for the price this f**king works, amazing talk box,
it so simple, a pedal, a tube, two little microphones, and some power,
this does what it's supposed to do, not like the old talk boxes, the bag and all, this is great,
and it's only about $80, £60 sterling,





i have seen on youtube someone making one out of a box, powered speakers, etc, i cant seem to find it at the mo, I'll post it when i find it,

That looks ok, and not a bad price, but it just not something that you would use a lot,
i only know of a few that has used them, Peter Framton, Joe Walsh, and i have seen David Gilmore use one,
They do sound good though ;D

Yeah your right there M8, it's not, and cant be used for a lot of stuff, but it can be fun ;D

here is a video of Jeff Beck using one, and explaining the thing to a BBC interviewer (nob head) back in the 70s, buy the way Jeff is one tremendous guitarist,

Hi Whitey, yeah thats the one i was thinking about, it's pretty good the way he's made it, but i don't think you could use it in a band situation, jamming or gigging,

but it's cheap and i suppose it would be OK to mess around with, and have some fun ;D, thanks for finding it

The gheto talkbox, i might have a go with that, I'v got some old power speakers and such, looks like some fun

i would never use a talk box on stage, as our music dont call for it, but just for fun i think i'll try that,

i had a go, and built it the way he says and it does work,
it pretty cool, you cant use it through the amp or such, but ok for playing around at home ;D
