Yeah punk, it f**king stupid  Biting the hand that feeds IT Viacom has launched a $1bn lawsuit against YouTube and its owners Google over copyright infringing videos hosted by the site  That's crazy, it like do these videos on you-tube really affect they're CDs or DVDs sales, i think not! It's like the Led Zeppelin videos, i read that they wanted you-tube to take them off because they are bringing out a DVD of the show, and they said the one's posted on you-tube would affect the sales  as if.  I found a few more of the same video on there, i love it, as soon as you-tube take them down, they get re-posted again

Youtube is like advertising. If I see a good Youtube video, I may be more inclined to buy the DVD/CD for better quality. They're shooting themselves in the foot, and need to jump into the 21st. century, and take advantage of the internet, instead of fighting a battle they can't will.
End of rant.

Your spot on with that one punk, they don't seem to realize what a powerful tool you-tube is and can be for them, I've actually bought some CDs of bands after seeing and hearing them on you-tube, or myspace, if it wasn't for those places, i would never have bothered.   |

I think the thing is these certain artist ain't gettin paid when you watch em on youtube or whereever else for free. Just like you guys said, I'm watchin an old video of whoever and bamm, I want that. Video ain't there no more so now I don't buy nuthin.
