Here is another favorite guitarist of mine, [shadow=red,left,300]Dangerous Dan Toler[/shadow] I've loved Dan's guitar playing ever since i first heard him playing with Dickey "The Cat in the Hat" Betts, when he was in Dickey's band in the 70s [glow=red,2,300]Dan Toler[/glow]From Wikipedia Dan Toler, also known as "Dangerous Dan Toler." An Indiana native, he became popular in the late 1970s as a member of Dickey Betts' band Great Southern appearing on Dickey Betts & Great Southern and Atlanta's Burning Down. He went on to become a member of the Allman Brothers Band with Betts from 1978-1982 appearing on "Enlightened Rogues" (1979), "Reach for the Sky" (1980) and "Brothers of the Road" (1981). Toler later was a member of the Gregg Allman Band in the 1980s as well as reformed version of Great Southern in the 2000s. He has a guitar that Dickey Betts once gave him that originally belonged to Duane Allman. He is well-known for having a guitar sound that much resembles the sound of Dickey Betts. In 2006, Dan Toler and fellow guitarist Ed Zinner , along with Ron Gary, formed TGZ and released a CD called "Living Dangerously." Here's Dan with George Dan with his best friend (his red Strat)
