I was readin about this in a local sportsman mag and tought I'd share it. I hunted piney woods rooters with my dad as a kid but never dreamed of anything like this. Talk about a wall mount and a half. check out the tusks on the thumbnail pic www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D8PBKB5G0&show_article=1&image=largeSorry but the page I wanted to copy from fox news won't copy the whole address. so here is the google page link. I searched monster pig, click the 4th link it should be indented a little. It has some thumbnails to click. that'll be where you can check out the tusks and size of the hog compared to adults and kids. www.google.com/search?q=monster+pig&sourceid=ie7&rls=com.microsoft:en-US&ie=utf8&oe=utf8We raised hogs on our farm but the biggest we ever got one was about 550 lbs.

Wow whitey, that's a monster pig alright I wonder how many burgers, and sausages could you make with that mother Just looking at the photo, and studying it like, it a bit deceptive the guy seems to be a bit further back than he says, or makes out he is from the pig, which gives the illusion that the pig is bigger than it is if you know what i'm trying to say is, it's like a little bit of trick photo's. But still, it's a big fat pig I've never seen a pig that big, not even one like you had on your farm, 550 ibs is a good size yes? thanks M8

You can call it a croc, I know what you mean. The biggest I seen was longer than my 14' bateau. Me and my bud was bass fishin and kept hearin a growl of sorts. Didn't think of a gator, sounded more like a outboard comin out the water. We started fishin this flat in a curve and that's when we found her. She bowed up out the water real mad. She must have had a nest of younguns near. I tried to troll past but she started chasin the bateau. She got within 12 feet and my bud in the back was crankin the outboard. That was one fishin trip I'll never forget. My bud has gone off to greener pastures but I still visit that spot once or twice a year just for the memory and maybe another chance to see that big mama gator. I now carry the camcorder on all my fishin trips.

Great, sounded like a real adventure fishing trip, would have loved to see your faces when you saw it was a Gator great story 14' that a good size I should have read more carefully, my mind saw croc not gator, my bad but there are crocs in the States right, i know they have em in Florida and that way, is there any around Louisiana
