I love gibson firebirds! I got a call from my cousin that grew up with the gaines family and told me that this guy had a firebird guitar that used to belong to Allen Collins and that it was for sale or trade . i loaded up some expensive strats and headed on down.the guitar was indeed in a road case the said "A. Collins" on it.it was very dirty but hell i didnt care! i traded close to twenty grand in fender strats for that firebird. its white with gold hardware.my new/old baby! i play it live....sounds amazing!
