If you check out syracuse.com, it says that Once an Outlaw will be released early 2010 and there will be a new line-up led by Chris Hicks.
Surprising or what?

I'd be more inclined to see a Chris Hicks-led Outlaws than the Henry Paul-led Outlaws. Saw a few clips of Henry Paul's Outlaws on youtube and, while musically very good, Henry sucks at singing Hughie's songs. Amazing. Isn't this the same Henry Paul who kept Freddie Salem and Harvey Dalton Arnold out of the reunion line up because he wanted guys who could recreate the vocals on the 1st 2 albums? Now, he don't seem to give a sh!t that he sounds NOTHING like Hughie Thomasson. At least you're in the spotlight now, right Henry?

Outlawsmusic.com now directs you to Henrypaulband.com Seems the rumours are true. As I said before, I'm more inclined to see a Chris Hicks-led Outlaws than a Henry Paul-led Outlaws. That said, I would support "The Henry Paul Band" that's what the Outlaws have been for the last 2 years anyway. Call it what it is.

There's a court case pending too MT versus HP, MY and the rest.
Looks like it could get messy.

I spent a good portion of Saturday afternoon looking up info on the "Outlaws situation". From what I found, seems all was fine and dandy until Henry re-recorded Outlaws songs and put them up on the website. Go to www.Henrypaulband.com and the first thing you hear is Henry singing "There Goes Another Love Song". With Mary Thomasson holding the rights to the name "Outlaws" I would think the last thing you'd want to do is piss her off. Writing her late husband out of the history of the band would likely piss her off, doncha think?
