Amanda Overmyer - Solidfy, think Janis Joplin/Sass Jordan & you get what she`s about, this is an excellent album & is out on her own label Chile Records, it`s been available on her site since Dec last yr, but is making it`s way into various online stores such as iTunes, Amazon, Napster, Rhapsody, Tradebit, CD Baby and Digstation now
background info, she is a 24yr old from Arkansas & was a contestant on American Idol last yr & was voted off in what was 11th place, but hey what do you expect from a pop contest
she lists Bob Seger, Janis Joplin, CCR & GnR as her main influences
