One awsome player that comes to mind, is "Jimmy Bryant" he used the Telecaster in the early 50s, (The stuff he was doing in the early 50's is still scary). This clip from youtube is of "Jimmy Bryant and Speedy West" performing "Flying High", www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vzt1iA2D_KgAlso "James Burton" he worked for Elvis Presley, among others, from 1969 to 1977, Here's a video clip of "James Burton" playin' "Mystery Train" with his signature model Telecaster. www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cH5RGirn0k

Steve Cropper, played with Stax session band Booker T. & the MGs, who backed such stars as Otis Redding and Sam & Dave. and many, many more, had some fantastic rhythm work, known to be spare and crisp using the back pickup of his Telecaster,

Waylon Jennings RIP , a country legend, he's always been associated with Telecasters, He's also been honored by Fender with a "Waylon Jennings Tribute" Telecaster ( a beautiful "Telecaster" it is as well)
