[glow=red,2,300]Husk[/glow]
"If they weren't from Canada, you'd swear it was a backwoods Southern band.Husk's music conjures up a feeling of warm summer nights with a cold beer and the perfect song playing on the radio.
Husk are a SouthernRock - Country Rock band from Canada, playing some good ole Southern Music, here's what folk's are saying about them:....
Makes me wanna buy a six pack, find a place under the stars, find a sexy cowboy and ride him all night long!
~
Husk is pure, toe tapping, hand clapping country music with a southern twang.
Their music is genuine and soulful, good time and honest music. Listening to Husk makes you want to dance all night.
~
Downhome, twangy, and relaxing music.
~
The best Southern Rock since the 1970's! The beat is great and yet relaxing. I know in my heart this group could win an award for best group!
~
HUSK-TODAY'S SOULFUL SOUTHREN BLUEGRASS SOUND. "TAP YOUR FEET TO THEIR SOUTHREN DOWNHOME FEEL GOOD BEAT"
~
Your music is a very great Backwoods Southern Rock. And is great also for a Family & Friends get together,Like a big Southern Cookout."
~
The stand off is brilliant. I love the piano in that. Sorrow floats is good, too. Wicked guitaring. Eastfork is beautiful. Such a nice mellow tune that one is. To the sun is rly nice aswell. Amazing vocals in that track. And The sorry poem. who could 4get that? No one I tell ya, hehe. Nah, it's all rly good in my opinion
~
Slide guitars dancing around an acoustically driven back beat with spirited vocals and harmonies. This is "alligator and shack" country music with a tinge of twang.......Appropriate for hippies, reprobates, cowgirls, or anyone on their way to New Orleans.
~
Bluesy, sultry, artistically eclectic sound that similates Bob Dylan.
~
Country flavored music spiced up with a little rock, guaranteed to satisfy and make ya crave for more !Just plain good.
~
This is very tasteful and flavored music for all to hear. Enjoyable, soothing, very delicate and Talent to be dealt with.
~
Backwoods moonshine with breathless sultriness & southern rock soul. The blend of downhome and rock give you a sweet tea taste in your mouth, that will leave you begging for more on a hot summer night!
~
This type of rock is made out of the stuff people thought no longer exsisted. But after the winter came and went... Something up from the ashes came forth as HUSK.
On they're my space page they have five fantastic songs posted on there, "Throwing Stones" "Stand Off" "Eastfork" "To The Sun" and "Sorrow floats" I love the space echo effects on they're slide on this song, Fantastic, you can hear some more of they're music on CD baby, where you can also buy they're album,
