Strong 9++++/10



Rarity,

Only circa 35-50 amplifiers were produced with the early metal badge logo so is the Holy Grail of any /all Marshall Amplifiers



Tone /Sound,

These early 45 amplifiers have a unique /classic tone that is somewhat like an early tweed 50s bassman although with more GAIN +++++

1964 Marshall Silver Maroon 45,




Specification as follows


Silver /Maroon Logo (Exceptionally rare logo style that was only used for 2-3 month period+++)
JTM45 Chassis
Smooth Black Tolex
Early Silver Disc Controls

Cosmetic Condition,

Strong 9+++++/10 (Minor vinyl grazing to bottom of cabinet)



Tone /Sound,

These later 45 amplifiers are somewhat harsher than the early metal badge 45 amplifiers with slightly more gain /drive

Gold Block Logo (Classic period logo that was used for circa 6-12 months)

Cosmetic Condition,

Strong 9+++++/10 (similar condition the silver /maroon 45 amplifier as only shows minimal tolex grazes /wear)



Tone /Sound,

This amplifier has the same internal specification as the Silver and Maroon 45 amplifier (only difference is badge /logo) so the tone /sound is similar /same (same tonal characteristics)

Cabinet shows some wear to bottom /corners and cosmetic condition would be classed as used /good (circa 8/10)

This particular amplifier is very smooth with more compression than any of the above listed amplifiers
