Pigmeat Pete SmithThis is a tribute page to Pigmeat Pete Smith, a fantastic Blues Guitarist and singer songwriter who sadly died of cancer several years ago. He had a rhythm n blues band with Simon from the Cosmic Sausages called The Jivin' Instructors who split after he died, and another called The Blue Rhythm Methodists, as well as playing solo and with a blues harp player called Catjuice Charlie. The Blue Rhythm Methodists Pete was a very talented Blues musician, with a real natural feeling and great technical ability, a brilliant live performer with a good sense of humour, he was a brilliant Blues man that should not be forgotten, There's really not a lot of info out there about Pete, if anyone reading this, has any info or any recording's of Pete, either get in touch with his wife e-mail mkielty@hotmail.co.ukOr im me on here, Here are some videos of Pigmeat Pete Smith enjoy, excellent stuffPigmeat Pete Smith "Walking blues" by Robert JohnsonThanks to vidlad Pigmeat Pete Smith "Busker blues"This is one of his original blues and ragtime songs "Busker Blues" Pete had busked (street performed) extensively throughout Britain Ireland and Europe Pigmeat Pete Smith "We're going home blues" by Pigmeat PeteAnother one of his original blues songs.
