I like the brown USA one whitey, you can really see the contours of the dish (if that's what it's called Lol) of the body, The purple one doesn't seem to be so prominent,, but i suppose that could be the pic yeah, But looking at the purple's top again, it Does look kinda nice, They seem kinda expensive for Peavey guitars, The one's that i'v tried out a few years ago where kinda shitty, and cheap intro guitars, So have they moved into the big boy's market or did they always sell them, I'v never seen these before, They look kinda interesting

I've played several Peavey guitars over the years and they all were good players. The JD is a step in the upper end for them I guess. It is a very nice top, 5A maple. There is a used Peavey for sale I played and want. Hadn't been back to store to see if it's still there. Looks like an ES335 with a Peavey headstock. Good feel and sound,$250 with a case.
