nice guitars punk, very nice Custom, and the Strat looks in good condition, is that a faded SG,? I noticed that your Customs got a trem on it, how does that work on the Gibson? and what bridge did you use, I've seen a pic, or a video of Dickey with a Gold top with a tremolo on it, i cant remember where or when but he sure sounded good ;D wow, and them amps, and cabs, some heavy stuff there M8, i bet your not using them to practice at home with, very loud I imaging I see at the bottom of the pic, you have some pedals, what are you using?? you'll have to post about what you got on the effect page, Some nice gear there, nice one bud P S, i just remembered where I've seen Dickey playing that guitar, It was on a TV show, way back in the 70s i think it was, The TV show was called Nashville i think? or something Nashville, I got a DVD off sunkel, with loads of Dickey stuff on it The strat has some road wear. I bought it in that condition in 1967 ish. (it was old then) I had a local luthier look at it about 15 years ago. He told me it was a 1962. I factory ordered the Les Paul with the trem. I don't use the trem much, but it works good, and stays in tune. Yeah those cabs are heavy. But that those twin 15's sound good. They have a lot of bottom, and sound great for alternative IE; Godsmack, Creed, Ozzy etc. I tore my back up moving them on my last gig. What a nightmare that was. I don't play gigs anymore. Once in a while, I'll hook up with some friends and jam, and use a small Crate combo. The cabs stay in my sound garage Yeah I do use them to practice at home. I only have one neighbor and they work during the day. So the sky's the limit. I don't use effects any more. But I'll post a picture soon of what I have.

Hey punk, did you order the Custom from Gibson themselves, or through a dealer ? it very unusual to see a Gibson with a trem on it, i have read on the LPF, about some wanting to put them on their Lesters, and what to use, nice one, You know, I some times miss that sort of volume, and the feel of playing through a stack, ;D some times, I think, It would be nice to play through a stack, and when in a guitar shop, I see them standing there, I'll go and try one out, O Yeah, this sounds good ;D Thats it, I'm buying it, Gas hits me then , but then when I think about it, feel the weight and the size of the thing, where and when am i gonna play this thing, Luckly I manage to stop myself, But still f***ing tempting ;D

(Nicotera's Music center) I think in 1979 or '80. It was originally white and gold, then repainted black by a local Gibson repair shop. (The paint job stained, and Gibson warranted it) I think its a Kaylor (spelling??) Whammy but I'm not sure?? I'm still looking for the papers that came with it. Interesting story behind that big twin 15 cab. I found a website where they claimed that you could build a speaker cabinet that would somehow resonate and enhance the pitch that you most commonly used. In this case, drop D, or open D. So I downloaded the plans and built that cabinet to his specs. (I can't find the website). I wired the two 15's in series. I don't have anything to compare that cabinet to. But it sounds great with that Laney Pro Tube

I'm particularly fond of your LP with that split diamond in the head punk. I just like those top of the line Gibsons. What pups you got in the LP? I see so many open coils lately the covered pups are a nice change. In fact all the guitars I've had until this year, 2004 Faded V, mine, and 2007 Epi LP Classic, my sons, have always had covers. I bet that thing plays nice, as a Gibson LP should, huh.

(Still looking for the paperwork) But believe it or not, I like the way that faded SG sounds much better.
