Man, there's too many bands to mention. to much to type. All of the above certainly, including Kid rock. Almost everything in the southern rock genre. Grateful Dead, Phil & Friends, Everything from Aerosmith to ZZ top. Almost everything in the blues genre.  |

Yeah i know what your saying punk  I'm the same as you, i like all types, from Pink Floyd to tool, to metallica and everything in-between, except for thrash, 70s type punk, (not you M8  ) But i have one favorite of them all, which i think you all know is Dickey Betts  I know this is a Southernrock forum, but there are places on it, where people can post about other music, and other Bands, like the pages-Music, "Their's and Yours" "Alternative Music Styles" or "Music" I am sure a lot of folk's would like to see post's about other bands, music, (i know i would), ;D  But i understand what your saying M8, you like so many, it's hard to pick one  |

I have to throw this one in, THE ROLLING STONES. The last time I saw these guys was in 1990 at the Superdome in New Orleans. Living Color was the start up band. Me and my wife went while the oldest kid was still in the oven. I think it was the "STEEL WHEELS" tour.

Rolling Stones, Yes, another classic band seen them quite a few times, Even played at the same venue as them back in the late 60s, nice people Another great band whitey, "Living Color" i haven't listened to them for some time, I'll have to to go and give them a listen |

Another great Band born in the 60s, Hawkwind, great psychedelic band, have had a few moments with these guy's Silver Machine was i think they're biggest hit, then Lemmy left to make his own band, Motorhead, the band is still going, but i think there's only one or two original members left in the band, some of the others have gone, some have their own bands that are touring and playing Hippie festivals, Great Band " "Hawkwind" |
