it's a les paul vintage mahogany and came with burstbucker pros. I think the special comes with the 490r 500t

Skydog, good pick up.s the B B, I've got them on my 04 Standard, very loud, not too muddy,
Also is the Vintage Mahogany (your guitar) chambered, I've got a Les Paul Elegant and she is sort of chambered, (internal sound chambers Gibson called them lol) and she resonates beautifully, she is a lot lighter than my other Paul's, also she is somewhat brighter in tone,
I was just wondering if your Vintage Mahogany is, and did you compare her to the Special, or the "Standard"  and how do you find the sound /tone compared to these others, (just curios)
Beautiful guitar M8, I really like that finish, I also like that she has less coatings on the neck, as my "Standard" gets very sticky when playing, which is a drag, (No pun intended LOL)

If I had to compare it to any other paul it would be the standard which is what I was going to buy or an SG then I saw the VM and played it and thought it was the best playing/sounding paul I have ever played/heard. It's like they made it just for me.
