I have this: on my Telecaster. I have drilled and screwed down the front corners like this: It is available from Guitar Fetish for $29.95 USD. What do you guys think?

Hey dennis, it looks OK man , what the difference between that and Fenders To me they both look like the same, Also on the first pic, the saddles look like their chromed, but on the second (the one on the guitar) they look like their brass, Also on the first pic, the saddles look square, but they look round on the second pic IMO Is that the pics or what,

The first photo is a stock photo from the Guitar Fetish website. The second photo is of the same model part installed on my own personal Telecaster after a bit over two years of playing. The saddles on the first photo are new and shiny, and the second photo has used, tarnished saddles. Otherwise, they looked the same when I first installed it. They also come with gold baseplates.

In my experience with other Telecasters, such as my MIM Nashville model, the 'front' edge of the bridge plate is sometimes raised away from the body, causing what must be an incomplete transference of energy to the body, therefore causing a likely loss of 'tone'; therefore, the two extra holes. Many aftermarket Telecaster bridge plates have extra holes already drilled. Check out Bigsby conversion bridge plates:
