Lydon fronts butter brand John Lydon is to front a TV campaign for a British butter brand, according to reports.
The Sex Pistols' legend has been chosen as the face of Country Life because he is a "great British icon", they announced today.
The company unveiled the singer in a statement, with the promotion set to be broadcast on British TV in the coming months.
It reads: "We don't think enough people know Country Life is the only major British butter brand and John gets the message through loud and clear.
"He is seen as a great British icon. His independent views are part of his consumer appeal and his tongue-in-cheek sense of humour shines through in our TV advertising."
"great British icon", they must be fnucking joking, I think he's a in the first degree, an old raciest big mouth,
He was tolerated and liked in the "Sex Pistols" but now day's, IMO, he's a sad grumpy old git,
Thats my opinion of him,

Couldn't agree more cofi. As far as I am aware, he doesn't live in England any longer, so what does he know about Country Life butter?
